This class will follow the Arthritis Foundation's land exercises. You can do this class standing or sitting.

Draw, paint, collage, and play! For those new to art making and those looking to loosen up their work. We encourage spontaneity, experimentation, and spur of the moment decisions! No experience necessary.

Come and exercise your brain. You know the old adage – “If you don't use it, you lose it”. Come and have fun with us as we work together on different types of puzzles. Once you have signed up for the class, you will receive a zoom link to that specific class.

For this class we will be using a light resistance Thera Band. Please check with your medical provider before start of class to be sure it’s right for you. We will be working on strengthening the arms and legs. Once you have signed up for the class, you will receive a zoom link to that specific class.

Lions, Tigers, Bears, oh my! Join us on an adventure, as we drive through the 180 acres of open land to come up-close with free ranging animals. After the tour we can take a stroll through the safari village and get even closer to the animals housed there. Bring your own lunch and drink and some money as we will find a place to have a picnic lunch and go shopping in the store.

Join us for a visit to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond where we will tour many different exhibits. Bring money to buy your own lunch in the Café.
We will meet at Crow Recreation Center, 1700 Rose Hill Drive, and provide transportation to Richmond.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Come and join us as we celebrate National Ice Cream Month. Enjoy good ice cream and good old fashion socialization.

Calling all Grandparents! Bring your grandchild and their favorite teddy bear or other stuff animal and a picnic lunch as we go on a Teddy Bear Picnic. We will have teddy bear games, songs and other activities geared towards younger grandchildren, but all are welcome! After the festivities you and your grandchild are welcome to have your picnic lunch on our picnic table.

Let's do lunch! We will provide transportation to Olive Garden, please bring money to purchase your lunch at the restaurant.

It’s summertime! Let’s go to the park and enjoy the beach. We will go to Mint Springs so bring or wear your swimsuits, hat, water and lunch as we spend the day sitting on the beach or wading or swimming in the lake.

Held outdoors (weather permitting) in beautiful Booker T. Washington Park, we will use natural materials to create our art! Twigs can make tiny houses or campsites, leaves can be collaged, and pebbles can create a landscape. Join us in this new and unusual art experiment! The goal is play, and no experience is necessary.

Washington Park, we'll paint, draw, sculpt and collage the nature around us, looking and imagining Charlottesville's trees, water features, sky, mountains and more. Using easy-to-access materials, no experience is necessary: as we play, enjoy nature, and make marks on paper.

Get away for a week without leaving Charlottesville. Enjoy art outdoors at Charlottesville's beautiful Booker T. Washington Park, complete with an air-conditioned option. Paint, draw, sculpt and play with like-minded individuals while enjoying nature. Field trips to Charlottesville's new Botanic Garden and to Ivy Creek Nature Center. No art experience needed. Bring your own lunch, water will be provided.

We will be hiking the new Meadow Creek Trail. We will meet on Holmes Ave. for a guided hike on the new path to the Meadowcreek Golf Course. The hike is approximately 1 mile. Once at the golf course, we will have lunch at the Grill and then take a shuttle back to Homes Ave. to your cars.
