Adaptive Skateboarding - 180033

The Adaptive class is specifically tailored for those skaters with cognitive or physical disabilities who would benefit from the balance and strengthening aspects of skateboarding. Adaptive skateboarding class is specifically tailored to those with no skateboarding experience. These brand-new skaters will focus on skateboarding' s foundational skills. The main goal is to become confident while riding in the skate park environment. Progression objectives: Skateboard Safety, Balance, Navigation, and Board Control. This class emphasizes the importance of creative play, working together, and making new friends. All abilities are welcome.
Please note, Adaptive Recreation staff will not be on site for this program and participants needing support should come with an aide.
